If you happen to be a huge Georgia sports fan you definitely know what it is like to have a continuous cycle of losing seasons and heartbreaks, but now there is a massive culture change in Atlanta sports. Some people would say that Atlanta sports are back due the Hawks making the postseason for the first time in 5 years, Braves are winning a bunch of games, Bulldogs continue to find recruits and always keeps their culture of winning football games, and the Falcons have completely changed their front office, coaching, and have added some players to help their roster. Another reason why I am excited about this blog is all the memories that will be made throughout these sport seasons. Some memories that stand out to me is UGA finally beating Alabama back in 2022 to win their first national championship in 41 years. All the Bulldogs fans know that Alabama would always beat and torment UGA on the football field. The city of Athens was rocking the minute that clock ran out of time. A more recent memory was when the Atlanta Braves won the World Series against Houston. Another memory of mine was when the Falcons made it to the Super Bowl in their final game at the Georgia Dome. I know our Super Bowl hopes went crashing down late in the game, but to have one last game in your stadium to go to the Super Bowl and win it meant so much to the city and the state. Watching these teams in-person or with your friends and family at home can bring us all together and create so many memories we can tell to our future kids and so on.
